TETRA Source License
The SRT TETRA Source License is a complete TETRA radio and modem technology solution that enables the immediate production of a proven and approved handset and the future development of new products.
The SRT TETRA technology has been developed over a 6 year period and is proven and approved in both formal approvals (RF, Environmental and IOP) as well as in the field on multiple live networks around the world. It offers a complete range of voice and data features in all 400Mhz and 800Mhz frequency bands supporting both AI and E2E encryption.
Unlike most TETRA technology solutions on offer, the SRT solution has achieved formal approvals and been proven on live networks over periods of many months of intensive testing. Network testing has included cell handover on Taiwan’s new high speed railway, testing on the Beijing network, testing in South Africa, testing in Seoul and approval by the local authorities.
The SRT Source License delivers all the source code and information related to the firmware, hardware and various specialist support tools and applications as well as detailed support documentation, thereby instantly delivering you the capability to develop your own range of TETRA products without risk and with minimal investment.
Each source licence includes:
Firmware: All source code for DSP, Protocol Stack and MMI
Hardware: All source design information for 400 & 800Mhz PCB, MMI PCB and GPS
Mechanical Design: Complete design for a proven and approved TETRA handset
Support Tools: An extensive range of deployment, production and customisation tools developed to support the deployment of a TETRA handset. Including but not limited to, field programmers, MMI customisation tools, production test and network analysers.
Approvals: A complete set of test reports related to formal RF, Environmental and IOP approvals.
Documentation: Detailed documentation on every element of the technology portfolio, including several feasibility studies into TEDS.
