The SRT Executive Management team is experienced, aggressive and disciplined. Working as a team, but with specific areas of responsibility, the management of SRT continue to execute a clear and well defined business plan, which aims to build SRT into a global force in wireless technology product solutions and thereby generate value for our employees, customers and shareholders.


Executive Directors

Simon Tucker, aged 38 - Group Managing Director
Simon lead and executed the group’s turnaround following its purchase from Securicor plc in 2002. With 15 years experience of creating, building and running companies, Simon drives the business strategically and where required, operationally, in an aggressive yet disciplined style. His knowledge of international business has proved to be a particular asset in the growth of SRT.

Matthew Rogers FCCA, aged 33 - Group Finance Director
Matthew joined SRT in 2003 and is responsible for all aspects of our financial reporting. Having qualified with Moore Stephens, Matthew spent several years working in a commercial environment before joining SRT. Matthew’s highly disciplined and robust approach is reflected in the quality of the management and corporate financial reporting associated with SRT.

Neil Peniket, aged 34 - SRT Marine Technology Managing Director
Neil Peniket joined SRT in 2004. As Managing Director for our Marine division, Neil is responsible for executing the Marine business plan. A Chartered Electrical Engineer, Neil has worked in the electronics industry for 12 years where he has gained a reputation for his abilities as an engineer, who also has exceptional management and commercial skills and awareness.

Dr George Kyprios, aged 52 - SRT PMR Technology Managing Director
George is an experienced international MD with a background in ‘blue chip’ multinational high-tech businesses, joint ventures and subsidiary companies supplying advanced products in global markets. With a strong track record of increasing profits and operational efficiency across the supply chain, he has implemented strategies that accelerated business performance and secured robust order pipelines. George has an in-depth knowledge of engineering and manufacturing, has opened new markets, created international sector leaders and has directed three successful industrial turnarounds. He is fully tri-lingual and has spent extensive periods living & working in Europe.
 

Non-Executive Directors

Richard Moon, aged 56 - Non-Executive Chairman
Richard was formerly CEO of Racal Electronics and Thales and joined SRT plc as Chairman in October 2005. He has over 30 years experience of the communications, defence, and electronics industry, and works closely with a number merchant banks, venture capitalists and financial institutions. Richard brings high degree of corporate governance and exceptional knowledge and experience of SRT’s business to the Board. Richard is a member of the SRT plc Nomination Committee.

Simon Rogers, aged 50
After an early career in FMCG brand management and Market Research, Simon worked as UK Marketing Director of software company Lotus Development Ltd in the late eighties. Since that time, he has established and sold two media businesses, remaining a Director of Electronic Media Ltd, and has served on the boards of a number of small and medium size businesses, including over ten years with the Portal Partnership, an IT services company. Simon was a founder investor in SRT and one of the main backers of the buyout from Securicor. He is a member of the Remuneration and Nominations committees.

Andrew Lapping ATII, aged 44
Andrew is managing director of The Hamilton Portfolio Limited. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and non-executive director of a number of companies, including Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT 2 PLC and NetPlay TV. Andrew is a member of the SRT plc Audit Committee and the Nomination Committee.

Nick Jolliffe, aged 49
Nick Jolliffe brings experience of investment banking and company management to SRT. A Chartered Accountant, Nick's experience spans industrial and commercial roles, and subsequently The City, including nine years at LDC (LloydsTSB's private equity arm). He now works as a consultant and NED for a variety of institutions and private companies. Nick is a member of the SRT plc Audit Committee, and Remuneration Committee, both of which he is Chairman, together with the
Nomination Committee.
