SRT provides solutions for professional applications within the global homeland security and safety markets where clear international technology standards exist.  Digital technology standards for use in professional markets are highly complex and present a huge barrier to entry.  Our solutions enable manufacturers wishing to enter these lucrative markets to quickly develop, manufacture and sell their own unique product.

The SRT plc group operates two wholly owned subsidiaries, which each target specific markets:

Digital Professional Mobile Radio:  communication systems for people such as military, police, ambulance, transport and other professions, where communication must be totally reliable at all times often with a complex mixture of data and voice applications.  SRT PMR Technology Limited and its customers are targeting a growing global market of over 40 million PMR users with networks being rolled out in over 85 countries.

Marine Identification and Tracking:  the identification and tracking of all types of vessels has always been an issue.  Today, an international standard called AIS (Automatic Identification System) exists, which was first mandated by the IMO in 2002 on most vessels over 300GT.  AIS enables accurate identification and precise GPS location of vessels.  SRT Marine Technology Limited and its customers are targeting a global market of over 24 million vessels.
